- A person wishing to enter into the IH&DWF trophy contests must purchase the SWF "IH&DWF chapter" membership by April 30 in order to enter trophies. This does not include the SWF photo contest as it is provincial and has its own rules.

(To be eligible for the provincial Henry Kelsey Awards, memberships MUST be purchased by April 1 for Bear and August 1 for all other big game species). - Memberships are sold to the IH&DWF range all year long "one must purchase the SWF "IH&DWF chapter" for a range membership to be valid.
